Just as a man would never succeed spending an evening dancing in high heels and nylons – Women will not succeed in achieving the weight loss they desire on a weight loss plan written for men. Just as harmful to your results can be trying to achieve your weight loss goals with a plan that is written for neither gender. For example – did you know that a very low-carb diet will fail for the majority of women while successful for most men?

My name is Dr. E. Faust – a practicing board certified M.D. As a mother of three, I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life. With each pregnancy, I gained almost 55 pounds. Each time it got harder and harder to take off the excess pounds.

I joined Weight Watchers. The weight came off. In fact, I was awarded the infamous Lifetime member pin for successfully keeping my weight off for a whopping six weeks. When the weight came back on, I quit going to meetings, I was afraid they would ask for my pin back. Weight Watchers did teach me an important lesson: If you deny yourself the foods you love (chocolate, chips, cheesecake, bread, etc.) you will fail. So next time someone tells you to give up your favorite foods you can honestly tell them you can eat that and still lose weight.

While I was building a successful medical practice, more and more patients would ask me the same questions: “How can I lose weight?” “I feel exhausted on this diet, do you have anything that will give me more pep and make me lose weight?”

I knew there had to be a better and easier way. The problem is that we doctors are taught to cure a lot of illnesses – but until recently, medicare did not even officially recognize obesity as a disease! So here I was – an overweight physician with a deadly disease that I could not treat, let alone cure.

Then I started to dedicate my free time to solving my problem of being overweight and my inability to weight off if I had a short success. Yo-Yo dieting will become obsolete for you too.
